The Austars Model UAV Catapult is an all-in-one launch and recovery system engineered specifically for maritime and naval applications. Supporting UAVs up to 150 kg for launch at speeds of 60 m/s, the system is optionally bundled with 3 or 5 fixed-wing UAVs in RTF configuration. Each UAV offers nearly 10 hours of continuous endurance, and swarm-capable mesh link operation enables full-area reconnaissance coverage. The system package includes a 1–5 year contract with lifetime support and specialist training.
The unit features a rugged modular design with no exposed cables and is optimized for Navy deployment, recommending UAV weights under 50 kg for recovery. It integrates wired and wireless control options with real-time digital telemetry and speed recording.
Shock absorption and damping systems are CAD-optimized for durability, while onboard systems allow weight-to-speed adjustment for precise mission tuning.
