VSD from Cambridge Pixel is a customizable operator display software platform designed for military Command and Control (C2), counter-UAS, and critical infrastructure protection. It enables the display and control of radars, cameras, sensors, and effectors through an adaptable interface optimized for operational environments. Running on standard Windows PCs, laptops, or servers, VSD supports both fixed and mobile C2 deployments in hierarchical or edge networks. The software is easy to operate with minimal training and supports rapid integration of new features into tailored solutions.

VSD provides configurable 2D and 3D layouts that combine live camera feeds, radar windows, panoramic views, and map overlays with real-time symbology. Multi-screen support allows operators to arrange windows and controls for efficient workflows, while background maps and fused sensor data enhance situational awareness. The software supports both local and remote control of sensors and effectors and can automatically discover subordinate systems for regional or central command centers. Integration with third-party tracking and AI-based classifier modules further enhances detection, classification, and operational decision-making.

Four standard versions are available to meet different mission requirements:

  • VSD-Camera Standard: Provides multi-screen display and control of multiple cameras, featuring a map window with slew-to-cue and live field-of-view overlays.
  • VSD-Camera Advanced: Adds support for third-party video tracking and AI-based classifier modules, along with integration of sensors such as AIS and ADS-B.
  • VSD-C2 Standard: Expands capability to include one C2 sensor or effector type, such as radar or jammer control, with alarm processing and MIL-STD-2525D symbology.
  • VSD-C2 Advanced: Supports up to four C2 sensor or effector types and introduces 3D and panorama display windows for advanced situational awareness.
