ASO (Automated Sensor Operator) is Overwatch Imaging’s software-defined sensor autonomy platform that transforms airborne sensors into intelligent, AI-enabled ISR systems. The platform automates sensor control, wide-area search, detection, and real-time edge processing. ASO delivers actionable intelligence at speed, while reducing operator workload and unlocking new, superhuman capabilities.

By executing these functions at the edge, ASO reduces bandwidth requirements and operator workload while accelerating the delivery of actionable ISR data.

ASO extends autonomous functionality to conventional EO/IR video gimbals, transforming manually controlled payloads into AI-enabled ISR assets without requiring new hardware. The software automates manual-intensive tasks at the tactical edge, delivering greater efficiency, faster target acquisition, and reduced cognitive load.
