The IMSI Catcher RPS module has the option of being completely independent of the UAV in regards power, data connection.
The module has been designed to be used on DJI drones where the requirement of no direct connection is a pre-requisite in certain operational situations or where immediate deployment is required for a new UAV or alternatively where power on multi-payload UAV’s is restricted or unavailable. Providing fast deployment and flexibility of utilising the Revector Detector UAV payload in all operational situations including Search and Rescue, Intelligence and ISR operations.
The IMSI Catcher UAV Comms Module is fitted with Microhard 2.4GHz Radio configuration, (as used by many UAV providers) to provide connection between the Ground Station Unit and the Air Unit which is connected to the Revector UAV payload. Power from the latest Lithium IOM 21700 cells that can operate in low temperatures of -10°C provides over 3 hours operational time.
Weight of the Air Unit including battery is 0.5Kg and provides a combined weight combination of 1.9Kg with the Revector Detector UAV payload
