The RQ-35 Heidrun is a compact, fully autonomous and highly portable mini-UAS that delivers superior data-gathering and situational awareness under the most challenging of frontline conditions. The ultra-reliable system is highly resilient even in the face of electronic warfare and GNSS-denied environments, and provides intuitive control and class-leading flight time and range.Tailored for company-level deployment, the RQ-35 Heidrun boasts a track record of over 500 challenging real-world missions, with minimal losses even in highly contested airspace.

Rapid Deployment

With a lightweight design and minimal logistical footprint, the RQ-35 Heidrun can be deployed quickly when time is of the essence. The user-friendly interface allows soldiers to be fully trained for full operational readiness within days.

Advanced Ground Control

The RQ-35 Heidrun’s portable Ground Control Station (GCS) allows users to effectively plan missions, control the drone, analyze sensor data, and more. The ruggedized handheld tablet ensures reliable performance even in harsh weather and environmental conditions.

Our Sky-Watch Drone Manager software, which can be installed on the GCS or on other laptops and mobile devices, provides a range of advanced features for pilots and payload operators, including single- or dual-tablet operation and ultra-reliable C2 in GNSS-denied environments.

Versatile Payload Capabilities

With a payload capacity of 500 grams, the highly flexible Heidrun can be equipped with a range of sensors for effective surveillance and tactical mapping, including industry-leading EO/IR gimbals.

Built-in camera-centric control allows the pilot to maneuver and manage missions directly through the live video feed, and also allows for high-precision deep stall landings on a specific target.

Single & Dual Patch Antennas

The RQ-35 mobile Patch Antenna kit weighs just 3.05 kg and will easily fit into a standard backpack along with the aircraft. Designed for easy field setup, the advanced communications system ensures high-quality data transmission and reliable UAS tracking, and offers a range of up to 25 km.

A dual patch antenna kit is also available, extending the range to up to 45km for enhanced line-of-sight operations.
