Flight Termination Systems
Flight Termination Transmitter
Programmable IRIG-based ground command transmitter
The Flight Termination Transmitter is a programmable ground-based unit that generates FM flight termination commands using assigned IRIG tones. Operating between 390 MHz and 450 MHz, it allows configuration of tone sequences, RF center frequency, and SAFE, ARM, and TERM functions through PC software via RS 232, with optional embedded signal level measurement for transmission feedback.
Designed in accordance with RCC 319 requirements, the compact and lightweight system supports integration with high-power amplifiers for fixed or mobile ground stations. Its rugged construction, MIL-STD-810G compatibility, and reverse polarity protection ensure reliable performance across harsh land, air, and naval environments.

Flight Termination Receiver
Airborne RF receiver & tone decoder
The programmable Flight Termination Receiver is a compact airborne RF receiver and tone decoder for tone-based flight termination systems. It features a programmable center frequency, high-sensitivity superheterodyne architecture, and the ability to decode three or four tone sequences selected from 20 IRIG tones, providing command outputs to onboard termination devices.
Built for fail safe operation, the receiver supports programmable loss of tone detection, low voltage protection, cross strapping options, and signal strength telemetry output. It is IRIG compatible and compliant with RCC 319-14 and RCC 313-01, with MIL-STD-810G environmental qualification for demanding airborne applications.

Flight Termination System
Integrated termination solution for UAV testing & operations
The Flight Termination System is a fully-redundant range safety solution designed to transmit termination commands to airborne receivers when required. It enables operators to select between redundant channels in real-time, maintaining continuous command capability during testing or operational activities.
The system comprises dual control panels, dual power supplies, a control unit, and an antenna switching unit supporting up to eight antennas, along with associated cabling. This redundant architecture enhances reliability and supports critical range safety operations.
