The Flight Termination System (FTS) from TUALCOM is a fully redundant range safety and test solution designed to transmit flight termination commands to airborne receivers when required. Built for critical range operations, the system ensures mission safety through dual control panels, redundant RF channels, and power supply units. It includes control and signal generation modules, high-power amplifiers, and an antenna switching unit supporting up to eight antennas. Users can dynamically switch between redundant channels for uninterrupted operation and mission assurance.
The system supports 20 IRIG tones and features programmable RF center and tone frequencies, as well as configurable RF output power levels up to 50 dBm at 100 W. Fault detection and output verification functions enhance operational reliability, while the RS-232 interface allows real-time monitoring and control. Designed to meet RCC 319-14 and MIL-STD-461F standards, the TUALCOM FTS delivers safe, efficient, and maintainable range command capability for flight testing, launch operations, and guided system development programs.
