Telemetry Transmitters

The telemetry transmitters from TUALCOM are ultra-small aeronautical telemetry modules designed for mini UAVs. Operating in the 2.2–2.4 GHz band, they provide reliable, high-rate data transmission for flight test and instrumentation applications. Built on an IRIG-106 compatible SDR architecture, the units support optional data encryption, Forward Error Correction (FEC), and randomization. Available modulation formats include PCM/FM (Tier 0), SOQPSK-TG (Tier 1), and Multi-h CPM (Tier 2), with configurable data rates up to 20 Mbps in 1 kbps increments.

These transmitters offer optional data acquisition and PCM encoding functions, eliminating the need for an external DA unit when acquiring data from Ethernet or serial ports. Multiple RF output power levels (1 W to 20 W) are available to meet a range of operational requirements. Compact and power efficient, the transmitters meet MIL-STD-810 standards and are ideal for use in UAV testing and development programs requiring high-reliability telemetry links.
