The DVL A50 is the world’s smallest doppler velocity log which provides accurate velocity measurements when it’s between 5 cm to 50 m from the seafloor and has a 300 meter depth rating. With ±1% long term accuracy, it is a capable tool for subsea navigation. Using the Water Linked DVL BlueOS Extension enables position holding and autonomous navigation capabilities in the BlueROV2 and other vehicles. One of the aims of the BlueOS structure is to make it easier to develop, provide, install, and use integrations than in the original Companion software.
