DefendAir

Counter-UAS net launchers for civilian & military environments

Our DefendAir counter-UAS systems provide a multi-layered soft-hard kill capability that protects against the rapidly growing threat of drone attacks. Utilizing a lightweight and rapidly deployable net launcher combined with existing technologies such as RF and EO/IR detection, these solutions ensure effective interception of different-sized drones from multiple directions and ranges.

Highly effective even in RF-denied conditions and against fiberoptic-guided targets, DefendAir systems are non-explosive, making them safe for use in urban environments.

DefendAir can be deployed in three different form factors:

DropAir

Precision airdrop system for secure drone-based logistics

Precision airdrop from ParaZero TechnologiesDropAir is a revolutionary precision HALO (High-Altitude, Low-Opening) airdrop solution designed to enable secure and rapid drone-based logistical support in hazardous and challenging environments. It is ideal for defense, remote resupply, and emergency response applications, and can be used to deliver a wide range of critical cargo including blood and medical supplies, humanitarian aid, ammunition, and spare parts.

The system utilizes an autonomous parachute mechanism to make the drop as close to the required landing zone as possible, ensuring minimal drift and collateral risk while maximizing accuracy. This highly reliable late-opening design allows for rapid deployment and swift exit from high-risk areas.

DropAir can be integrated into a range of different commercial and military drone platforms, and is highly suited to both autonomous and remotely-piloted operations. It is available for 5, 10 and 20kg payloads as standard, and can be customized for other weights upon request.

DropAir Reproducibility Test
In this video, we carried out a reproducibility test*, in which we used the DropAir system in different altitudes, weights, wind conditions and more, again and again, to determine that it works every single time. This is a key tool to get higher TRL (Tech Readiness Level) and ensure its reliability.

*A reproducibility test, AKA repeatability and reproducibility (R&R) test, is a method used to assess the performance of a product or measurement system by evaluating the consistency of measurements across different conditions. It helps determine if a measurement system can produce the same results when used repeatedly under varying conditions like different operators, instruments, or locations.

Custom drone parachute safety systems

We provide bespoke parachute safety systems that unlock the full potential of UAS while minimizing the risks associated with operating over populated areas.

SafeAir parachute systems use sophisticated AI and machine learning-powered flight computer analysis to constantly monitor and analyze drone flight data and patterns in real time. Flight risks and aircraft failures are autonomously identified, and once triggered, SafeAir carries out a series of safety measures with unparalleled speed:

  • Quickest Parachute Deployment – Thanks to our patented guard solution, the parachute is activated and opened to full canopy in a fraction of a second
  • Autonomous Flight Termination System (FTS) – The SafeAir system cuts power to the motors to deny injury and damage to the parachute cords
  • Flight Computer – Our system monitors the flight constantly and detects any abnormalities that can lead to a crash
  • Safety Buzzer – An audio warning buzzer alerts bystanders on the ground about incoming danger, providing them with the time to move out of harm’s way
  • Post-Deployment Analysis – By importing the flight logs into our app, you can reverse engineer the cause of the parachute deployment and debrief your flight
